Under the chapter ‘the kindness of strangers’ is the subchapter of ‘kindness of friends of friends’. Raju joined Eric Reed 6 years ago on his Himalayan paragliding adventure. Thank god my sumo didn’t leave till 1 pm so I could hang with him for the morning. He runs a very successful tandem opperation here in gantok, and runs a tour company. He gave me contact info for Pelling and beyond – it will all work out – thank you Eric, raju, and universe! Raju even has a zip line and obsticle course across the river at his office. Keep your cool on the middle mountaineer traverse ( I got sewing machine leg Hahahaha) Travelers if you find yourself in gantok – do not miss a paragliding tandem ride with raju – this guy is LEGIT!
